"Gascon needs to Go"
Two short months after the gruesome murder of Johnny Wachter, a well-known actor from the popular doctor show, the press and district attorney meet at the footsteps of the Clara ShortRidge criminal court in downtown Los Angeles, waiting for the outcome of the criminals charged in the murder. Governor Candidate Javen Allen felt it extremely necessary to show up and support the cause of safety and protection for actors in Hollywood. KTLA 5 News even hounded the candidate for an interview on the topic but apparently took a kindergartener appraoch to such a serious issue. When I asked what he thought about the situation, Javen told Erin, the amateur journalist pestering him for input, "I do not feel it's appropriate for people to takeoff time from their work and jobs to show up at the bottom of the courthouse to ensure that the elected officials they already voted on, make the right decisions in handling the murder of an accomplished actor. Gascon has proven to be thirsty for public approval instead of the pursuit of justice, and I really hope that he makes the right decision." A clean cut to the bone no doubt--deep enough to even shake the producers at the studio back in Glendale. This particular excerpt did not end up airing on tv, however it's a refreshing reminder of how accurate Javen's perception of justice and public opinion actually is. Just two months later, Los Angeles officially recalls George Gascon, and elects Nathan Hochman as district attorney. A failure on the liberal news company's part. A true honest politician will always speak the truth, regardless of what the news requests.
